Many times the word fan has a connotation that may sound aggressive or violent, childish or immature. And that “fan” begins the word “fanatic”, and bigotry, when it exceeds its limits, always ends in violence. Perhaps that is why when I say that I am someone unconditionally, I try to avoid saying I’m a fan of … I’m a fan of changing it.

Where lies the difference between a fan and admirer? One way or another, I will continue to be a follower of that person who I admire. I read your news every day, I keep almost all your photos, I see all your movies, listen to all your songs, and I appreciate his talent and personality above many other things. I’m not interested as he lives, who comes, where it goes, if you shower every day, if you like junk food, if she dresses in clothing that has not been pressed or if you buy in thrift stores. I do not drive that car, go to bars, with few girls have gone, the friends he has … But to most people, if you care.

The day a taxi was about to run over Robert Pattinson, dozens of girls running after él.Seguramente, those girls would have been outstanding hours before the Twitter waiting to know the location of the filming of Remember Me. Would be typical when they see him, say “Edward” instead of “Robert”, will spend hours looking for news where you talk about privacy, paparazzi photos. As he passed by he could not conorm with shouts of joy and feel grateful to be so lucky to have him ten feet … no. They had to follow him, trying to touch him, but when they did was not enough, and felt the need to grab him, and threw the clothes, and he would feel so trapped, so persecuted, that he tried to flee, nearly run over . That might have been the end of his life. And then I realize that by “fan” begins the word fanaticism. And the fanaticism often ends in violence.

That’s when I realize where the difference lies between a fan and admirer …

I unworthy every time I see a picture that feels persecuted, surrounded by girls that scream, cling to clothes, hair. I get angry every time I read news on the rumors that he discredits or simply ignored their official statements. I get angry every time someone refers to him as Edward or Vampire … I get angry every time I see that what we really value it, is his character. And then I think: I admire him, I follow him, loved him, but … “I’m still a fan of his? And I think, if I am, there is no difference between fan and admirer simply there is a difference between the type of fan you are, and how they admire. And then I realize that fan begins the word Fantastic. And that’s what I feel with him: a fantastic girl.

Rob inspired this project, I became a fan that really wants him. And no, I’m not a fanatic, I am fanStástic.
